So what can I say... I'm AMAZING at following schedules... yeah... The schedule obviously didn't work so now I need to rethink it. One of my issues is finding material to write about. So while I struggle with this, I'm just gonna try to post once a week at least. Any help on ideas for things to write about would be greatly appreciated, just shoot me a comment here, or send me a FB message, or etc. Anyways, I'm not gonna ramble on about my lack of any work ethic forever.
I wanna talk about not responding to messages. It's the worst feeling when you see people have "seen" your message and just don't respond. Granted I'm not perfect at this but I try not leave messages unanswered, especially when I know the person knows I saw it. The feeling that you get when someone see your message and it visibly says "seen" is one of the worst.
What do I mean by seen messages. For iPhones this mean the other person opens the text message. On messaging apps like Kik, it is the little "R" that shows the message has been read. On Facebook it's the notification that tells you the message is read. The only messaging service I can think of that doesn't tell you when a message is read or not is Android text messages.
Now I get it, people have lives, sometimes there's a person you just don't want to talk to at the time. Anyone can have their reasons for not wanting to talk to someone. But if you are going to open the message, it is a nice thing to respond with something. And if you really can't talk, or you just don't want to talk just say something like "I'm busy" or "can't talk right now" or even a short one word "busy" would be enough. If you have enough time to open the message, you have enough time to respond. If you are just avoiding the person then don't open the message. Maybe the take the hint maybe they won't, but at least they don't have to feel like shit know someone that someone just isn't responding to them. Just something to think about.
So if you want to send me an idea or just want to voice your opinion on this subject, then comment or send me a message. I am open to all kinds of feedback. Thanks for reading :D
